The church “Pokrov na Presveta Bogorodica” is a new church, built in 2015 on the site of an old medieval monastery church that bore the same name. The church was consecrated on May 10, 2015. Many years ago, there was a women’s monastery here, which is why the place is still known by the name “Babite.”
