The necropolis of the Jewish Cemetery is located 2.5 km from the city, on the left bank of the Bregalnica River, on the road to Radovish. The necropolis is an authentic immovable cultural property that represents traces of the presence and existence of the Jewish community in Shtip. The necropolis is divided into three sectors, likely as a result of several successive renovations and expansions. The current condition of the site does not objectively allow the total number of burials to be precisely identified.
All graves are oriented west–east and follow the configuration of the terrain. There are three types of grave markers: markers with a semicircular top, markers with a gabled (two-slope) top, and markers with a flat horizontal top. All are based on massive stone slabs from which the monument is formed. The base slab is of stone or brick and is flat. The dimensions of the graves are: height from 0.3 m to 0.70 m, width from 0.6 m to 0.96 m, and length 2.0 m. Each bears an inscription in Cyrillic script, the name of the deceased, the date of burial, and a short blessing, as well as the obligatory Star of David
